باحث ما بعد الدّكتوراه في قسم الدّراسات الفلسطينيّة ومركز دراسات الشّرق الأوسط في جامعة براون. متخصّص في تخطيط المدن، ويحمل درجات أكاديميّة في الفلسفة والعلوم السّياسيّة وتخطيط المدن. تركّز أبحاثه على مكانة المجموعات في نظريّات وممارسات التّخطيط، والعلاقة بين الدّولة والمجموعات في تخطيط المدن، والتّخطيط وإعادة الإعمار في مواجهة الإبادة الحضريّة. شغل سابقًا منصب باحث ما بعد الدّكتوراه في جامعتَي هارفارد وتافتس، ويعمل حاليًّا على دمج الرّقمنة مع تخطيط المدن لكشف خبايا التّاريخ المخفيّة والإرث المفقود، وإعادة رسم خرائط السّرديّة، وتطوير نماذج تخطيطيّة لاستعادة الأحياز والمدن المهدومة.
Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Palestinian Studies and the Center for Middle East Studies at Brown University. Specializes in urban planning, with academic degrees in philosophy, political science, and urban planning. His research focuses on the place of communities in planning theory and practice, the relationship between state and communities in urban planning, and planning and reconstruction in the face of urban erasure. Previously a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard and Tufts, he currently works on integrating digital technologies with urban planning to uncover hidden histories and lost heritage, redraw narrative maps, and develop planning models for the recovery of demolished spaces and cities.
